47/365 Can’t let it go

After not having any in two weeks, here I go again.  Old habits are  hard to break after all

46/365 coffee table

Finally, I got a good shot of the coffee table. Or the candle holder, or maybe the coaster?

45/365 Barrie Lake

Today before hearing mass (finally) and before doing some shopping, we went for a walk down the lake. It was my first time to walk in the ice covered lake in my three years here in Canada.

Kids were playing hockey, father and son were chasing in the snow, some guys were skiing and the other were busy ice fishing, watching them enjoying in the snow was terrific.

And the fact that I was walking at the lake is amazing.

44/365 Book et al

I used my brown towel as a backdrop for these beautiful little guys which I recently bought from goodwill and value village.  I am a bit of a compulsive buyer in terms of book buying, especially when I know that they are way cheaper than a brand new one.

43/365 Box Office

We get to the theater finally but we dropped the idea of watching Valentines Day, we watched Shutter Island instead and it is a good movie, I RECOMMEND IT.  Worth watching for.

But before that, we never see it coming, we found a parking space just infront of the theater, how was that?  We usually have to go around the parking lot twice, thrice or even four times just to get a spot.

42/365 Wackier than ever

Last night we babysat. It was a short notice, we didn’t stay long though. And if I hear babysitting, it makes music to my ears because that will give me a chance to put my camera out and chase my “victims”. They don’t need to pose, the wackier they are, and the more passionate I am.

4 days 365 marathon

I’ve been taking photos everyday but I can’t keep up with this project 365 because my computer won’t allow me to upload anymore photos, I have only 200 gigs hard disc space and I really need to upgrade or buy an external hard disc. Unfortunately I cannot do it right now because I am unemployed. NO MONEY! Sigh.

So what I did is I compressed my photos in a zip file and deleted all the photos on my folder and [I am] still deleting files. They are all eating my computer’s space especially now that I am saving photos in RAW now.

Anyhow, my weekend was so much fun. We went to Stratford and had dinner with Anthony’s sister and brother- in-law, watched Steve’s hockey practice and went to bowling. I LOST.

I had a lot of photos but this one is my favourite in all my Saturday’s photos and I am proud to say that I never edited the first three photos and I am starting to learn how not to use flash by selecting proper ISO in low light and of course the aperture.

38/365 Hockey

I never thought that watching hockey [live] is as fun, as crazy as watching basketball. My favorite player is the goalie. I watched Anthony’s nephew playing twice and I find the little goalie boy cute, especially when that tiny hockey pucks hit his thingy lmao!

37/365 Acorn

I don’t need to go outside to create my 37th photo for my project 365 :)

36/365 Three Frame Images

Today I learn how to make a three frame images in Photoshop, isn’t that amazing? :P I finally learn how to use the rectangular marquee tool, yay me!

35/365 Meet Simba

She is one of Mami Bell’s kitty kat, her bestfriend as she once said. I was dazed when I saw her eyes on the computer, I didn’t change a bit of her eyes, I only put texture and lower the opacity.

She’s a tough girl.  I call her “one of the guys” (the four dogs in the house), and she could fight when she needs to defend herself.  Her nails are her defense.
